While I enjoy the fit and feel of the Catwalk2Closet face masks, and even ordered more, I now have some concerns, based on CBC Marketplace recent reviews of some 20 masks. They used a facility with experience evaluating N95 products.
The result is that two-layered-100% cotton protected neither the user nor those on the other side of the masks. Another finding was that higher thread count cotton offered more protection than low thread count, but most manufacturers, you included I see from your website, do not reveal the thread count of their cotton masks.
So now I face a dilemma. For the present, it seems the best, easily accessible option are the 'paper' masks because they have a non-woven middle layer. The federal POH currently highly recommends a minimum of three layers, the inner layer being non-woven.
I neither want to be infected with Covid-19, nor infect others, if for example I have a cold or the flu.
Ought I return the recently-ordered masks for refund?
Can you supply the thread count?
Will you be manufacturing masks that meet the federal guidelines (i.e. with three layers, etc.)? If so, will you exchange the unused masks for those recommended?
I await your response with interest.
I enjoy wearing all the designs of this mask. The fit is superb and the nose wire ensures my glasses don't fog up. It is comfortable to wear for an extended amount of time. A great combination of aesthetic and function.
Adult Fitted Mask (with Nose Wire)
On October 22 I purchased my mask, the first of three I eventually ordered. Recently I sent you an email with photos regarding the defective first mask, but did not hear back from your organization,.
The ear straps are fraying and about to break off from the mask. Should I resend the photos so that I can get a replacement?
